​Leibstered​ ​2x with Sunshine​

People​ ​have​ ​asked​ ​me​ ​what​ ​I​ ​like​ ​most​ ​about​ ​blogging,​ ​and​ ​I​ ​always​ ​have​ ​the​ ​same​ ​response. I​ ​love​ ​the​ ​people.​ ​​ ​We​ ​are​ ​such​ ​a​ ​tight​ ​knit​ ​community​ ​that​ ​is​ ​always​ ​so​ ​supportive​ ​and​ ​is​ ​quick to​ ​give​ ​each​ ​other​ ​praise​ ​and​ ​recognition.​ ​​ ​I​ ​am​ ​always​ ​so​ ​excited​ ​and​ ​honored​ ​when​ ​another amazing​ ​blogger​ ​nominates​ ​me​ ​for​ ​one​ ​of​ ​these​ ​awards.

RosemaryMarie​ ​did​ ​such​ ​a​ ​thing,​ ​but​ ​added​ ​a​ ​fun​ ​twist.​ ​​ ​I​ ​have​ ​never​ ​been Uniquely Liebstered​ ​before.  Of​ ​course​ ​a​ ​big​ ​thank​ ​you​ ​also​ ​goes​ ​to​ ​RosemaryMarie,​ ​author​ ​of​ ​the​ ​amazing​ ​story​ ​Noble Doubt.​ ​​ ​I​ ​am​ ​a​ ​huge​ ​fan​ ​of​ ​this​ ​story,​ ​which​ ​is​ ​close​ ​to​ ​starting​ ​Generation​ ​4!!  But​ ​that​ ​is​ ​not​ ​all.​ ​​ ​RosemaryMarie​ ​was​ ​also​ ​nominated​ ​for​ ​another​ ​award,​ ​and​ ​offered​ ​some questions​ ​that​ ​were​ ​just​ ​too​ ​fun​ ​to​ ​pass​ ​up.​ ​

I​ ​have​ ​also​ ​been​ ​nominated​ ​by​ ​the​ ​talented​ ​sempreviva.​ ​​ ​I​ ​am​ ​totally​ ​in​ ​love​ ​with​ ​her​ ​story.​ ​​ ​And as​ ​an​ ​added​ ​bonus​ ​each​ ​chapter​ ​has​ ​a​ ​classic​ ​rock​ ​theme​ ​song​ ​(if​ ​you​ ​didn’t​ ​know​ ​I​ ​grew​ ​up listening​ ​to​ ​classic​ ​rock​ ​and​ ​I​ ​love​ ​that​ ​particular​ ​style​ ​of​ ​music).​ ​​ ​Thanks​ ​to​ ​semreviva​ ​I​ ​have been​ ​doubly​ ​Leibstered!!  So,​ ​here​ ​we​ ​go!!

1. What​ ​was​ ​cool​ ​when​ ​you​ ​were​ ​young​ ​but​ ​isn’t​ ​cool​ ​now?
   • Before​ ​there​ ​was​ ​Facebook​ ​and​ ​Twitter​ ​there​ ​was​ ​MySpace. Before​ ​there​ ​were​ ​smartphones​ ​with​ ​games​ ​on​ ​them​ ​there​ ​was Game​ ​Boy,​ ​and​ ​before​ ​Kindle​ ​there​ ​was​ ​going​ ​to​ ​the​ ​library and​ ​checking​ ​out​ ​a​ ​book.
2. What​ ​game​ ​have​ ​you​ ​spent​ ​the​ ​most​ ​hours​ ​playing?
   • If​ ​we​ ​are​ ​talking​ ​about​ ​the​ ​computer,​ ​then​ ​it​ ​would​ ​be​ ​the Sims.​ ​​ ​But​ ​my​ ​family​ ​and​ ​I​ ​love​ ​playing​ ​games,​ ​and​ ​we​ ​could spend​ ​hours​ ​playing​ ​cards​ ​or​ ​dominos.
3. If​ ​animals​ ​could​ ​talk,​ ​which​ ​animal​ ​would​ ​be​ ​the​ ​most​ ​annoying?
   • Although​ ​I​ ​think​ ​sloths​ ​are​ ​adorable​ ​as​ ​all​ ​heck,​ ​I​ ​wouldn’t want​ ​to​ ​carry​ ​on​ ​a​ ​conversation​ ​with​ ​them.​ ​​ ​It​ ​would​ ​take forever!!

1. What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it?
   • I​ ​have​ ​a​ ​co-worker​ ​who​ ​annoys​ ​the​ ​bananas​ ​out​ ​of​ ​me.​ ​​ ​He​ ​is one​ ​of​ ​those​ ​people​ ​that​ ​will​ ​talk​ ​a​ ​lot,​ ​but​ ​have​ ​nothing​ ​to​ ​say. Pretty​ ​much​ ​everything​ ​out​ ​of​ ​his​ ​mouth​ ​makes​ ​me​ ​want​ ​to roll​ ​my​ ​eyes.
2. What would a world populated by clones of you be like?
   • awesome!
3. What’s your cure for hiccups?
   • I​ ​have​ ​no​ ​cure.​ ​​ ​I​ ​just​ ​deal​ ​with​ ​my​ ​hiccups​ ​until​ ​they​ ​go​ ​away. If​ ​anyone​ ​else​ ​has​ ​any​ ​ideas​ ​I​ ​am​ ​open​ ​to​ ​suggestion.
4. What’s something you really resent paying for?
   • My​ ​last​ ​apartment​ ​charged​ ​me​ ​Pet​ ​Rent.​ ​​ ​How​ ​is​ ​my​ ​dog​ ​going to​ ​come​ ​up​ ​with​ ​$15​ ​a​ ​month?!?!​ ​(this​ ​coincidentally​ ​also makes​ ​me​ ​roll​ ​my​ ​eyes)
5. Do you think that aliens exist?
   • Yes, the truth is out there!!
6. What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?
   • Dragons would be cool.
7. If someone narrated your life, who would you want to be the narrator?
   • I​ ​think​ ​Reese​ ​Witherspoon​ ​would​ ​be​ ​good.​ ​​ ​She​ ​has​ ​a​ ​very Southern​ ​Charm,​ ​Girl-Next-Door​ ​kind​ ​of​ ​voice.
8. What was the most unsettling film you’ve seen?
   • The​ ​Revenant​ ​was​ ​pretty​ ​messed​ ​up,​ ​and​ ​A​ ​Clockwork​ ​Orange still​ ​haunts​ ​my​ ​nightmares.
9. What are you interested in that most people aren’t?
   • I​ ​love​ ​1950’s​ ​Retro​ ​Era​ ​Themed​ ​stuff.​ ​​ ​I​ ​Love​ ​Lucy​ ​is​ ​the greatest​ ​TV​ ​show​ ​ever.​ ​​ ​And​ ​I​ ​love​ ​antiquing​ ​and​ ​finding​ ​stuff to​ ​from​ ​the​ ​‘50’s​ ​to​ ​decorate​ ​my​ ​house.​ ​​ ​I​ ​even​ ​have​ ​a​ ​few vintage​ ​dresses​ ​that​ ​I​ ​adore​ ​(even​ ​though​ ​I​ ​don’t​ ​have​ ​many places​ ​to​ ​wear​ ​them).
10. What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis?
    • “You’re killing me, Smalls!” from The Sandlot.
11. What’s the funniest joke you know by heart?
    • Why​ ​is​ ​it​ ​a​ ​bad​ ​idea​ ​to​ ​play​ ​poker​ ​in​ ​the​ ​jungle?​ ​​ ​Too​ ​many cheetahs!​ ​Or…​ ​What​ ​do​ ​you​ ​call​ ​a​ ​fake​ ​noodle?​ ​​ ​An​ ​impasta!

1. If your life was a movie, what genre would it be closer to?
   • It​ ​would​ ​be​ ​a​ ​romantic​ ​comedy​ ​mixed​ ​with​ ​a​ ​bit​ ​of​ ​drama.
2. Who would play you in that movie?
   • Kristen​ ​Bell​ ​would​ ​capture​ ​me​ ​perfectly.​ ​​ ​And​ ​my​ ​husband would​ ​be​ ​played​ ​by​ ​Channing​ ​Tatum​ ​(or​ ​at​ ​least​ ​that’s​ ​who​ ​he wants​ ​to​ ​play​ ​him)
3. What would the setting be like?
   • I​ ​am​ ​a​ ​California​ ​girl​ ​who​ ​moved​ ​to​ ​a​ ​small​ ​city​ ​in​ ​Texas,​ ​so probably​ ​something​ ​like​ ​Friday​ ​Night​ ​Lights.
4. What style would the music be ? (last one about that bloody movie, I promise!)
   • Rock​ ​with​ ​a​ ​bit​ ​of​ ​country​ ​mixed​ ​in
5. What creature are you most horrified of?
   • I’m​ ​sure​ ​some​ ​people​ ​said​ ​that​ ​they​ ​are​ ​terrified​ ​of​ ​snakes,​ ​or spiders,​ ​or​ ​sharks.​ ​​ ​But​ ​not​ ​me.​ ​​ ​I​ ​am​ ​absolutely​ ​terrified​ ​of pigeons.
6. If you had to lose one of your 5 senses for exchange of a new one, which one would it be?
   • I​ ​could​ ​probably​ ​live​ ​without​ ​my​ ​sense​ ​of​ ​smell.

9. Can you describe your dream date?
   • April​ ​15th.​ ​​ ​It​ ​is​ ​not​ ​too​ ​cold,​ ​but​ ​not​ ​too​ ​hot.​ ​​ ​You​ ​can​ ​wear jeans​ ​with​ ​a​ ​cute​ ​cardigan​ ​sweater.
10. Can you describe your ideal night in?
    • Me​ ​in​ ​my​ ​jammies​ ​cuddled​ ​on​ ​the​ ​couch​ ​with​ ​my​ ​husband​ ​and the​ ​pets​ ​watching​ ​a​ ​movie.
11. What about the weirdest dream you ever had?
    • I’m honestly not sure.  I can’t remember my last dream.
