I just want to share a quick update, that the last chapter didn’t show up in anyone’s reader. I think I fixed the problem, but just in case you missed it the previous chapter is here.
Just like the Holiday Season is a time for family members to reconnect, this last chapter has given me the chance to reconnect with characters that I haven’t seen in a while. I forgot how much I missed April, May, June, Cindy, and Ryan until I used them for this past chapter. And in my usual fashion, I took way too many pics. So, I would like to share them here. First a Before & After of Brandon’s Room:
Stella’s need to decorate as a way to distract herself from her growing feelings for Branson was a big part of the last chapter. She went way ridiculously overboard with the decorations, but I had fun trolling different sites trying to find the best CC for her.
I don’t get snow here is Texas, so I have to live vicariously through my sims and watch them enjoy playing in the snow. As soon as the snow was deep enough Cindy & Ryan began making snow angels.
“Do you wanna build a snowman?”
I know that is the wrong fairy tale, but I couldn’t help myself.
Stella and Brandon spent most of the day populating Twinbrook with an army of snowmen. They also went to the Snowflake Fair in town to try ice skating. It took a while, but they eventually got the hang of it.
When the sun went down and the weather got colder they retreated back inside for some hot chocolate. But, Cindy and Ryan weren’t done playing.
I really have missed these two.
Of course the holiday season wouldn’t be complete without the family getting together for a gift exchange. I know that that is not what the holiday season is about, but I still wanted the Charming Clan to have a proper Snowflake Day. Everyone gathered at the Season’s home for the day.
Each of the family members cheered while the others opened their gifts. Everyone except Stella, who was more interested in anything other than the gift opening at hand.
Aunt April had the best surprised expression and Aunt May had the best disappointed expression (but if I was gifted a yard flamingo I would make the same face).

I loved the screenshot with the snowmen having matching accessories with April, May and June. Adorable! Brandon's room turned out pretty impressive, go Stella! And Cindy and Ryan are too cute, as always! ❤
(Also you should know that unfortunately this chapter never appeared on my reader either 😦 I didn't have this problem with Memory Lane Challenge though… I hope you figure it out, and if you need me to check anything again let me know!)

I’m glad you liked the special chapter. I forgot how much I missed Cindy & Ryan until this chapter. I’m glad to see them again.
I have no idea what is going on!! Why it isn’t showing up. I don’t know if it is because it was a longer post than the Memory Lane post.

Of course, anytime! 🙂 The only time it happened for me was because I started writing a chapter three days before I posted it and didn’t change the date and time to “right now” before I made it public, so it probably appeared way down at the reader… I have no idea what else it could be (it shouldn’t be the length I guess)!

I think I know what happened. I scheduled the post 1 minute before the real time. But when that one minute passed, nothing posted. So, I tried editing it again, and it gave me some weird response.
I might try posting a sort of test post to see what happens.

Haha, additional photos were so joyful. It’s nice that you can enjoy snow at least in the game. I hate it, so…um..what can I say? I have it turned off and never coming back to my laggy, snowing game.LOL.
When I look at the last photo, everyone seems so happy except Stella and Brandon. I think it’s nice that you chose deep-thinking poses for both of them, it looks like, despite the happy Christmas times, they are thinking what is to come about their relationship.

I hate the cold (then again anything under 70 degrees Fahrenheit is cold to me). I have been to Poland during the summer, and it was still cloudy and overcast. I can only imagine what it is like in the winter.
At least I can enjoy the in game snow from my nice warm, comfy living room.
I’m glad you noticed the last picture. It was never my intention to pose them that way, but it makes sense what you said.

A fellow Texan! I don’t think I miss the snow though! I have been in Chicago for business during the winter months and no thank you! I will take 100 in the summer and mild winters! :).
Loved the extra glimpse into their snowflake day! 🙂

It is a trade off. 100+ in the summer (plus the humidity does horrors to my hair). But at least we get really mild winters.
Plus, I live in north Texas, so I don’t have to worry about hurricanes.
