After a long wait I would like to introduce you all to the newest member of the Charming Family and Once Upon a Legacy. Her name is Stella Renee Charming. She is a genius who loves the outdoors. Her favorites are purple, fruit parfait, and Indie music.
Cindy and Ryan couldn’t be happier.
But Stella cries more than any sim baby I have ever had!! She cries nonstop. I don’t know if it is some kind of a glitch or what. Not to mention, as soon as she starts crying my dogs starts barking.
But before Cindy, Ryan, or I go crazy it’s Super Butler to the rescue!!
The time flew by, and before they knew it, it was time for Stella’s first birthday.
Everyone in Appaloosa Plains has been invited to the birthday celebration. They all came bringing warm birthday wishes, and tons of presents. Fay has been invited, but bad weather has delayed her plane.
Even without Fay the party must go on. Cindy and Ryan were enjoying the party, celebrating with Ryan’s teammates and the rest of the town. And for once, Stella didn’t cry all night.
The whole night was spent with everyone taking turns cooing over how adorable little Stella is. Cindy carried her precious baby girl to blow out the candle on the cake while everyone watched and cheered.
She was just about to blow out the candle when the door flew open and a familiar voice called out, “hold it right there!”
In the doorframe stood the last person Cindy and Ryan thought that they would ever have to see again.
“Anastasis!” Ryan hissed.
“What are you doing here?!” Cindy demanded.
“I am here for the same reason that everyone else is here.” Anastasis sneered. “I want to see your new baby. And I have a gift for her.”
“We don’t want anything from you.” Ryan stepped in between Anastasis and Cindy.
“But I have a very special gift for this little one.” Anastasis flashed an evil grin, which made Cindy hold Stella even tighter.
Anastasis paused for a dramatic effect while everyone in the room held their breath. Then she continued.
“What I give this little brat is a curse. Before Stella becomes an adult, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and she will die! And there is nothing you can do about it. You lose everything, and I win!!”
Every single person was frozen in fear. When she finished her speech Anastasis moved her hand over Stella. A eerie green light glowed over Stella’s head, turned into glass, and penetrated into her skin. Then in a dark cloud of smoke, Anastasis disappeared.
“There has to be something we can do!” Cindy cried. “What are we going to do?!”
She and Ryan were both in a panic. Their lives have been turned upside down in less than an instant. They went from total bliss to utter terror. Luckily, help has just arrived.
“There may be something I can do.” Fay consoled Cindy. “Unfortunately once a curse has been cast it can’t be undone. But I may be able to alter it.”
Fay pulled out a wooden stick from her bag. It looked like an ordinary stick, but when Fay started waving it around the tip glowed a blue green. Cindy realized that her godmother had a magic wand.
“As a Godmother, I was given this magic wand, but I have never had to use it until now. Missy wasn’t evil as much as she was selfish and stupid. But this curse comes from a very dark evil fueled by hate. It requires something special to alter the curse.” Fay explained as she waved her magic wand. “Stella will not die when she pricks her finger on the spinning wheel. But instead she will fall into a deep sleep.”
As Leader of the Free World Ryan’s father did his part to help his granddaughter.
“I hereby declare that all spinning wheels be destroyed.” he proclaimed. “Search everywhere, to the ends of the world, and burn each and every one.”
“But I am afraid that that will not be enough.” Fay interjected. “Anastasis has gotten a hold of some very dark, and very evil, magic. And she will stop at nothing to hurt Cindy, Ryan, or Stella.”
“But what else can we do?” Ryan asked.
“There is only one thing you can do.” Fay replied. “You will have to give up Stella.”
“No!” Cindy screamed. “I will not give up my baby.”
“Anastasis will not be able to harm Stella if she can’t find Stella.” Fay put her arm around her goddaughter. “I know of a safe place far from here where stella will grow up with a loving family. They can take care of her and, most importantly, they will keep her safe.”
Everything is going too fast for Cindy. She knew what she had to do, and it is the last thing that she ever thought she would have to do. Cindy thought that the sorrow was behind her. That Missy and her evil stepfamily were done for. That she had found her Happily Ever After with Ryan, and together they could have the family Cindy has always dreamed of. But now she is forced to give it all up.
“I know that it is the only way to keep Stella safe,” Cindy felt defeated. “But I feel like Anastasis has won.”
“Not at all.” Ryan consoled his wife. “We will see Stella again. She will live a long, happy, healthy life.”
“She will be surrounded by family who loves her.” Fay said. “Anastasis may have some powerful magic, but we have something stronger: love. And love always win!”
Now there is nothing left to do but watch as Stella ages up into a toddler. Cindy and Ryan both gave her one last kiss on the cheek, then they watched as Fay took her away.
So, this is the end of Generation 1. I can’t believe that my first generation is already over.
At this time I just want to give a big thanks to all of you, my awesome readers. This blog started out as a sort of an experiment (since I have no idea what I’m doing). I didn’t expect anyone to actually want to read this. So, thank you again for the likes and the sweet comments. And as always, have a great day or night depending on when you are reading this.
Ooo, I was curious to see which fairy tale would be used for generation two!

It is the hardest thing in the world having to give up your child. Even if it is the only way to keep her safe.
The only thing that keeps Cindy & Ryan going is the hope that they will be reunited with Stella once again.
